Missouri Rapper Top 1% in International Contest

     Missouri Rapper RAWOZ (Pronounced Raw-ohs) is currently ranked #4 overall in the NSMC 7 Rap Contest and Internationally in the top 1% of all contestants. There are 318 artists currently competing for a chance to perform live in Atlanta, Georgia and to have a song produced by Kato on the Track, a mogul producer in the hip-hop genre.

     RAWOZ entered the contest in late August of 2019. The contest ends September 30th of 2019. If you would like to view the video the link is available at the end of this article. While you are there go ahead and cast your vote. You can vote once per day. You will need to create a login for the website (beatstars.com) but it is a fairly simple process and doesn't require any sort of validation.

      RAWOZ is from Springfield, Missouri. He has been pursuing a shot in the hip-hip industry for a couple years now but says that "opportunities in Springfield are limited. I think this contest is a great way for artists like myself to get exposure".

      We asked RAWOZ what he hopes to get out of the competition. The 27 year old rapper says he wants a better life for his wife and kids. "Coming up the hard way has made me want to grind and hustle every day to get ahead. Consistency is key. I'm in the studio nearly everyday honing my craft and always looking for ways to better myself."

      RAWOZ Says "I have a lot of great people supporting me. I've got some great friends from my Jiu-Jitsu club that help me out however they can and a few people that help me out at the studio. I appreciate them all and never take them for granted. I really appreciate everyone that has been voting for me to get me to the top 1%. Ultimately it's up to Kato who wins the #1 spot. I worked hard for this. We put a lot of hard work in to the song and the video. I wanted to give Kato my best."

Springfield MO Rapper Crushing NSMC7 Competition

Mike Rose officially entered the No Sucka MC's 7 contest on August 30th, 2019 and submitted his video entry on September 10th. He is Currently #8 out of 195 entries and is in the top 5% overall internationally.  No Sucka MC's 7 is a hip-hop artist competition promoted by Beat Stars and Kato on the Track. Artists have a variety of tracks provided by Kato to write lyrics to, record a song and come up with a creative video submission. Video entries are then uploaded to the Beatstars.com website. Anyone can vote once a day. Video entries have to receive a minimum of 100 votes to be eligible to win. RAWOZ hit 100 votes within 24 hours.
