No Sucka MC's 7 is a hip-hop artist competition promoted by Beat Stars and Kato on the Track. Artists have a variety of tracks provided by Kato to write lyrics to, record a song and come up with a creative video submission. Video entries are then uploaded to the Beatstars.com website. Anyone can vote once a day. Video entries have to receive a minimum of 100 votes to be eligible to win. RAWOZ hit 100 votes within 24 hours. The video entry with the most votes win's a special prize package but the actual 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winners are selected by Kato at his sole discretion.
At the time this article was written there were 195 entries. In order for a contestant to be eligible to win they must have at least 100 votes by September 30th and then Kato will select a 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winner. RAWOZ received the needed 100 votes within 24 hours of posting the "Headshot" video and has secured a position as a top contender in the contest.
In an interview with RAWOZ he stated that he feels good about his video submission "Headshot" due to the extra effort put in to the video. Many artists simply recorded a video at the studio on a microphone or in a random outdoor location. RAWOZ submitted a video with a plot and spiced it up with some group scenes and some cool editing.
RAWOZ also said that his flow is different and not just a cookie cutter flow already being used by everyone else. RAWOZ claims "We have enough 'bums' out there already, I'm trying to do something new with my music. The industry needs some fresh material".
When asked why earning the #1 spot in this competition is important he said, "The music business is a ladder with many rungs. Kato has already climbed his way up many of those rungs. Kato can catapult me several rungs higher. He can also give me a chance to see what I sound like with a top tier producer. To date RAWOZ has been on his own often recording and engineering his own music after a cycle of people dropping out of the game or studio hopping.
RAWOZ says he has a good following in the Springfield, Missouri area and thinks those people will be enough to carry him far in the voting for the competition but he stated that the voting process is "trippy" since people are allowed to vote daily and there is no verification process when people create accounts to vote. He says there is probably alot of cheating going on in the process and ultimately hopes the voting at least gets his video enough respect from Kato to give him the nod for the number one spot.

RAWOZ is a family man with a wife and a son that is 5 years old. He feels that showing his son that everything is possible with hard work and that your life is best spent chasing your dream. He also states that being an artist is a struggle most of the time. RAWOZ says that making it to the top of the industry is a priority. He wants his family to have the best life he can give them and wants them to have the kind of life he could only imagine growing up.
RAWOZ says that the industry is full of people that want to hang out at the studio with the 'groupies' and smoke weed or whatever but he chooses to spend his time being motivated, training and doing Martial Arts. RAWOZ is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt and coaches the kids program at Ground Zero Training Complex in Springfield, MIssouri.
When asked if there is anything else to say RAWOZ said "Please GO VOTE. Do it daily. Setup your BeatStars account which is totally free and easy. I only need 100 votes but I want Kato to see the hustle I bring to my craft. I work hard. I want him to know immediately that consistency is my best trait and I'm hungry. My fans and friends and family can show that with their VOTES".
